What is a GED Testing Center?

A GED Testing Center is a location where individuals can take the GED (General Educational Development) test. This test is an alternative to a high school diploma, allowing adults who didn't finish high school to earn a credential demonstrating high school equivalency. Testing centers are usually run by state or local educational agencies, or by private organizations that have been authorized by their state to administer the test. They provide a controlled and proctored environment for taking the exam.
