For most MS programs, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), business, or social sciences.
- Transcripts that show your academic performance, including your GPA.
- GRE or GMAT scores (for many MS programs)
- TOEFL or IELTS scores (if your first language is not English)
- A statement of purpose, or personal statement, that explains why you want to do an MS degree, your academic and professional goals, and why you are a good fit for the program.
- Letters of recommendation, from professors, employers, or other people who know you and can speak to your academic or professional abilities.
- A resume or CV that lists your education, work experience, skills, and achievements.
NOTE: Some MS programs may also require additional materials, such as a portfolio of your work, a research proposal, or a writing sample.
