How to Look Up ACT Scores Online

While preparing for the ACT exam can be a long process, it only takes a couple of weeks for the grades to post online. Depending on where the test is administered and how many times you have taken it in the same testing year, the processing times could range from one to three weeks.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the ACT website (see resources).

    • 2

Click on "The ACT Test" tab across the top of the page and click the "Sign Up/Log In" button to log into your account or sign up for a new account.

    • 3

Create a new account by pressing the "Create Account" button. You will need to fill out your name (as appears on the test), date of birth, confirmation number on your test receipt, and email address to verify the account. If you already have an account, enter your user ID and password in the spaces provided and press "Log In."

    • 4

One you have logged in, click on the "View Scores" link and locate your ACT test score from the list. If your test results are not yet posted, check back later between the estimated post dates (see references).
