Do film schools look at ACT scores?

Generally, no, film schools do not require or heavily consider ACT scores. Unlike many undergraduate programs, film schools place significantly more weight on portfolios, writing samples, and auditions/interviews than standardized test scores. The focus is on demonstrating practical filmmaking skills and artistic potential.

While some schools *might* ask for ACT/SAT scores as part of a broader application, they are rarely a deciding factor in admission. A strong portfolio will almost always be far more important.
