Learning Objectives:

* Arts: Students will be able to create a simple collage representing a healthy lifestyle using recycled materials.
* Physical Education: Students will be able to perform basic locomotor and non-locomotor movements correctly and safely. They will understand the importance of warm-up and cool-down exercises.
* Health: Students will be able to identify at least five healthy food choices and explain their benefits. They will understand the importance of regular physical activity for a healthy lifestyle.
Day 1: Music – Bahay Kubo
* 10 mins: Introduction – Review of previous music lessons, introduction of "Bahay Kubo," its cultural significance. Teacher sings the song.
* 20 mins: Teaching – Teacher teaches the song line by line, focusing on pronunciation, rhythm, and melody. Students sing along, individually and in groups.
* 15 mins: Practice – Students practice singing the song with musical accompaniment (e.g., recording, simple percussion instruments). Teacher provides feedback and correction.
* 5 mins: Assessment – Informal assessment through observation of students' participation and singing accuracy.
Day 2: Arts – Healthy Lifestyle Collage
* 15 mins: Introduction – Discussion on healthy lifestyle components (balanced diet, exercise, hygiene). Show examples of collages.
* 25 mins: Activity – Students create a collage using recycled materials (e.g., paper, cardboard, fabric scraps) representing a healthy lifestyle. They can depict healthy foods, physical activities, or good hygiene practices.
* 10 mins: Clean-up and Presentation – Students clean their work areas. A few students share their collages and explain their choices.
Day 3: Physical Education – Locomotor and Non-Locomotor Movements
* 10 mins: Warm-up – Light cardio exercises (jogging in place, jumping jacks).
* 25 mins: Activity – Teacher demonstrates and explains various locomotor (walking, running, skipping, hopping) and non-locomotor (bending, stretching, twisting) movements. Students practice individually and in pairs.
* 10 mins: Cool-down – Stretching exercises.
* 5 mins: Assessment – Observation of students' ability to perform movements correctly and safely.
Day 4: Health – Healthy Food Choices
* 15 mins: Introduction – Discussion on the importance of a balanced diet, the food pyramid, and the different food groups.
* 20 mins: Activity – Students identify and list at least five healthy food choices from different food groups. They explain the benefits of each food. They can create a simple poster showing healthy food choices.
* 15 mins: Class Discussion – Sharing of student findings and discussion of healthy eating habits.
Day 5: MAPEH Integration – Healthy Lifestyle Presentation
* 20 mins: Review – Brief review of the week’s activities in Music, Arts, PE, and Health.
* 20 mins: Integration Activity – Students create a short presentation (can be a song, a skit, a poster, or a combination) integrating the learned concepts from the week. This encourages them to connect healthy living across different disciplines.
* 10 mins: Presentation and Assessment – Students present their work. Teacher assesses their understanding of healthy lifestyles across different aspects of MAPEH.
Assessment: Observation, participation, and completion of activities. The final presentation on Day 5 serves as a summative assessment.
Materials: Musical instruments (optional), recycled materials, art supplies, space for physical activities, charts showing healthy food groups, presentation materials.
Note: This is a semi-detailed lesson plan. The teacher needs to adjust the time allocation and activities based on the students’ needs and abilities. Differentiation strategies should be incorporated to cater to diverse learners.
