Interactive Pre-K Games

It is challenging to keep pre-kindergarten students occupied because their attention spans are very short and they require stimulating activities to keep their interest. Interactive games are a great way to keep pre-k students engaged and entertained. There are options that include games to be played on the computer and others that are in person.
  1. Fun School

    • Fun School has Amazing Animal games that are suitable for pre-k students. The Amazing Animal games teach geography and science concepts while engaging pre-k children in a fun challenge. The games are free and can be played on the computer.

    Water Balloon Toss

    • A water balloon toss is a great way to cool off on a hot day. Kids pair up facing each other a few feet apart. Kids throw the balloon to their partner. If the partner catches the balloon without breaking it, both kids take a step back, moving farther apart each time they successfully throw and catch the balloon.

Get Up and Go Sandwich Stacking

    • Get Up and Go Sandwich Stacking Games is a great way to keep kids engaged, and for kids to burn off energy. The game has instructions to play 10 different interactive games that are appropriate for ages 4 and up. The games include a relay race to create sandwiches, an obstacle course to complete while balancing a sandwich on the player's head and a sandwich fillings toss. The game costs as of 2010 $14.95 and can be purchased through the MindWare website.

    Potato sack race

    • Pre-k students enjoy moving and jumping around. Potato sack races allow kids to burn off energy while participating in a fun activity. Participants step in to a pillow case or large bag and race each other by jumping to the finish line. This game can be repeated over again.
