Give each child a red pompom with double-sided tape stuck to one side. Tell the children they must try to pin the nose on the clown. Blindfold each child and spin her three times. The preschooler who pins the nose closest to the correct spot on the clown wins the game.
Write a point value on several metal or plastic buckets and mark a standing line about five feet away from the buckets. Place higher point value buckets further away from the standing line and lower point value buckets closer to the line. Give the preschoolers circus-themed beanbag stuffed animals to toss into the buckets. Add up each child's points and award prizes according to the amount of points he earns.
Place several small prizes in a muffin pan and place it on top of a cardboard box. Take another piece of cardboard that goes from the side of the muffin pan to the ground. Let the children roll small plastic balls up the cardboard into the muffin pan. The preschooler earns the prize in the muffin cup his balls lands in. Each child can keep playing until she lands the ball in a muffin cup and wins a prize.
Instead of a cakewalk, have a prize walk. Write several numbers on sheets of paper and place them in a circle. Write the same numbers on small slips of paper and put the numbers in a bowl. Play music and have the preschoolers walk around the circle. When the music stops, tell each preschooler to stand on a number. Draw a number from the bowl and the child standing on that number wins a small prize.
Take a bag of lollipops and mark dots on the end of some of the sticks. Poke holes in the bottom of a cardboard box and place all the lollipops through the holes in the box. Each preschooler selects a lollipop and if his lollipop has a marked dot on the end of the stick, he wins a small prize. Either way, the child can keep the lollipop as a prize.
