Make a clock face for each child by writing numbers on a paper plate. Draw two clock hands on sturdy paper with an arrow on one end of each hand and cut them out. Punch a small hole in the center of each plate and in the flat end of each hand. Attach the clock hands to the paper plate with a brass fastener. Ask the children about the times of the day that they obey their parents, such as when it's time to eat dinner. Show the children that dinner may be at 7 p.m., for example, and have them move their clock's hands to that time. The clock helps to remind the kids to be obedient and teaches them to tell time.
Hand out a piece of paper with a drawing of a star. Instruct the children to color the stars with crayons, markers or glitter. Have the kids glue a picture of themselves in the middle, and then instruct them to cut out the star. Help the kids, who you can explain are gifts from God, punch a small hole in each of the stars. The hole should be punched in one of the star's points. Tie a clear fishing line or a string of yarn through the hole so the children can hang the star.
Ask the kids to bring individual pictures of their family members to class. Give each child a drawing of a star on sturdy paper. Have the children color the star any way they wish. Instruct the kids to glue all of the pictures of their family members inside the star. Punch holes on the two points on each side of the star. Help the kids tie a string of yarn through both points to create a hanger for the picture frame.
Draw or print an image of an old man, representing Abraham, and old woman, representing Sarah, on a sturdy piece of paper. Have the kids cut out and color each of the images. Cut a hole at the bottom of each puppet so the children can stick their fingers inside and play with the puppets. Additionally, kids can make a baby Isaac finger puppet.
