What to do when you get in a fight at school?

If you find yourself in a fight at school, it is important to stay calm and remember the following steps:

Move to a safe place: If the fight starts, try to move away from the area as quickly as possible to avoid getting hurt.

Tell a teacher or another trusted adult: Find the nearest teacher or another trusted adult and let them know about the fight. They can help to stop the fight and call for help if necessary.

Stay calm: It can be difficult to stay calm when you are in a fight, but it is important to try. If you get angry or upset, you are more likely to say or do something you regret.

Remember that fighting is not the answer: Fighting should always be the last resort. There are always other ways to resolve conflicts peacefully, like talking things out or walking away.

If you are injured: If you get hurt during the fight, make sure to get medical attention as soon as possible.
