"How the Grinch Saved Christmas" is a reworking of the classic arcade game "Bust-a-Move." You are in charge of the Grinch himself as he tries to pack as many presents as possible in his sleigh to bring to the children of Whoville. To gather presents, you have to use a spring-powered catapult and arrange presents by gift-wrap design. If you get three presents with the same gift wrap to touch, they all go in the sleigh.
Your goal in this game is to use fans, ramps and the force of gravity to make a green egg meet up with a hock of ham, creating the famous recipe promoted by Sam I Am in Dr. Seuss's "Green Eggs and Ham." There are two modes, "Over Easy" and "Hard Boiled," the latter requiring multiple steps to move the egg over to the ham.
You are the conductor of the Whoville orchestra in this interactive game. Pressing buttons and pulling levers changes the volume, pitch and tempo of the five orchestral sections: trumpet, drums, strings, xylophone and tuba. Choose the right settings for each instrument and listen to the resulting melody.
You pilot your own personal hot air balloon on a journey across the United States to take photos of famous landmarks for your Seuss-o-phone, stopping to answer questions about the history and geography of U.S. states and cities along the way. The more questions you answer the correctly, the more places you get to visit.
You commandeer the Cat in the Hat's "super-clean-upper" and its many cleaning tools to polish up before Mother gets home. There's a sponge for sopping up spills, an extending hand for picking up toys and a vacuum and broom for other messes. If you find a balloon on the ground with a word written on it that rhymes with the word in the corner of the screen, you get a temporary speed boost, allowing you to pick up items in less time.
"Fox in Socks" tests your knowledge of rhyming words. Fox's friend Knox is trapped on a pile of bricks on top of a log floating in a river. Each brick has a word written on it, and Fox is holding a sign with a different word. To help Knox reach an overhanging branch and climb safely ashore, click on the bricks with words that rhyme with Fox's word to make them disappear. If you miss three words, Knox falls in the river.
