How many kids in the get an education?

The number of kids who get an education varies greatly from country to country and region to region. According to the World Bank, the global gross enrolment ratio in primary education was 91% in 2018, while the gross enrolment ratio in secondary education was 77%. This means that, on average, 91% of children of primary school age and 77% of children of secondary school age are enrolled in school. However, there are significant disparities between countries, with some countries having enrolment rates close to 100% while others have rates below 50%.
