Parents can learn about obtaining funding for assistive technology through the Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) and the Individualized Education Program (IEP) used in special education programs of local school districts. The Disabled Children's Relief Fund, a source listed on UCP, offers grants for assistive technology and other services for children with disabilities.
