How does okonkwo want his sons to be raised?

Okonkwo wants his son to be raised in a way that is the complete opposite of himself. He is terrified that they might become soft or effeminate and would rather that they embrace their masculinity. Okonkwo places considerable value on masculinity, strength and valor. He wants his son to be stoic, resolute, capable and well-respected by their community.
