What is the function of ministry education?

The function of ministry education is to prepare individuals to serve in the ordained ministry of the church, and to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to provide responsible and effective leadership to Christian communities. Ministry education is concerned with the education of future leaders of Christian communities and the ongoing education of those currently in ministry. It may occur in seminaries, bible colleges, or universities.
