Why should the teacher not give answer all time?

There are several reasons why teachers should not give answers all the time:

Encouraging critical thinking: When teachers provide answers directly, they deprive students of the opportunity to think critically and find solutions on their own. By asking guiding questions and encouraging students to explore different approaches, teachers can help them develop their problem-solving skills and become more independent learners.

Promoting active learning: When teachers give answers, they are essentially spoon-feeding information to students. This passive approach to learning can lead to students becoming dependent on the teacher for knowledge, rather than actively seeking it out and engaging with the material. By encouraging students to engage in discussions, activities, and research, teachers can foster a more active and participatory learning environment.

Fostering curiosity: When teachers provide answers too quickly, they may unintentionally discourage students from asking questions and exploring their curiosity. By allowing students to grapple with questions and explore different possibilities, teachers can help them develop a love for learning and a desire to seek knowledge beyond the classroom.

Building resilience: When students are given answers, they may not develop the resilience and perseverance to overcome challenges and learn from mistakes. By letting students struggle and make mistakes, teachers can help them develop the skills and mindset necessary for success in the face of adversity.

Encouraging collaboration: When teachers give answers, they may unintentionally discourage collaboration and peer learning. By encouraging students to work together, share ideas, and help each other, teachers can foster a collaborative learning environment that promotes teamwork and social skills.

By allowing students to find answers on their own, teachers can encourage critical thinking, promote active learning, foster curiosity, build resilience, encourage collaboration, and ultimately prepare students for lifelong learning success.
