Sitting at No. 1 on the Periodic Table of Elements, hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. Not only is this odorless, colorless gas a viable alternative to the world's transportation and energy problems, it's also a simple solution to use when making exploding bubbles. Hydrogen carries a vast amount of energy in its composition, and when combined with oxygen it will explode, creating a sound quite similar to that of a firecracker.

Instructions
1
Using the appropriate tanks, fill a balloon with two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.
2
Place a small amount of dish soap into a tub half-filled with water.
3
It's important to always wear the proper safety gear when performing science experiements.
Put on your goggles and earplugs.
4
Release the hydrogen and oxygen from the balloon into the tub of soapy water. If you desire a large batch of exploding bubbles, use the entire contents of the balloon; or, you can use a smaller amount, so as to perform the trick multiple times without refueling the balloon.
5
Exploding bubbles sound like firecrackers.
Wet your hands and scoop up a bunch of the bubbles. Have a parent, teacher or peer light the bubbles --- and kaboom!
