Beyond Jesus, Christians also look to:
* The Holy Spirit: Christians believe the Holy Spirit guides them into understanding and applying Jesus' teachings. The Spirit is considered a teacher and comforter.
* The Apostles: The original twelve apostles, and other early followers of Jesus, who spread his message and wrote much of the New Testament, are seen as important teachers. Their writings (the Epistles) provide interpretations and applications of Jesus' teachings.
* Church Leaders and Theologians: Throughout history, church leaders, pastors, priests, and theologians have interpreted scripture and applied Christian teachings to various contexts. These individuals are seen as teachers, but their teachings are always considered in light of the primary authority of scripture and the teachings of Jesus.
* The Bible: The Bible itself—both the Old and New Testaments—is considered the ultimate source of Christian teaching. Christians study it to learn about God, Jesus, and how to live a life pleasing to God.
It's important to note that different Christian denominations may emphasize certain teachers or interpretations more than others. However, the core belief remains that Jesus Christ is the ultimate and primary teacher for all Christians.
