What phobia is the fear of education?

There isn't a formally recognized phobia specifically for the fear of education. While intense anxiety around school or learning can exist, it's usually classified under broader phobias like:

* School phobia (or school refusal): This is a fear of going to school, often stemming from social anxiety, separation anxiety, or a specific fear within the school environment (bullying, a specific teacher, etc.). It's not necessarily a fear of education itself, but rather the context in which it takes place.

* Social anxiety disorder: The fear of judgment or embarrassment in a learning environment could contribute to avoidance of education.

* Test anxiety: This is a specific fear related to exams and assessments, a significant component of the education system.

A therapist would need to assess the specific fears and anxieties to determine the most appropriate diagnosis. Simply saying someone has a "fear of education" wouldn't be a clinically accurate label.
