How to Find the Median on a TI-83

The median is a numeric value separating the lower half and the upper half of a list of numbers. The TI-83 is a graphing calculator made by Texas Instruments that calculates the median for you. Calculating the median is done in the same manner no matter what model you own: TI-83 Plus, TI-84 or TI-84 Plus. All of these calculators are similar to the standard TI-83, but each one does vary slightly in detail.
