Draw two circles, with the right side of the left-hand circle and the left side of the right-hand circle overlapping.
Label the left-hand circle, "Multiples of 2," and the right-hand circle, "Multiples of 3."
Write various multiples of 2 in the left-hand circle in the space that does not overlap with the other circle. The following numbers are examples of multiples that you could include in this section of the circle: 4, 8, 10, 14 and 20. Exclude multiples of 6.
Write various multiples of 3 in the right-hand circle in the space that does not overlap with the left-hand circle. Examples of multiples that belong to the number 3 include: 9, 15, 21, 27 and 33. Exclude multiples of 6.
Write numbers that are multiples of both 2 and 3 in the section where the two circles overlap. Examples of such numbers include 6, 12, 18, 24 and 30. Note that these numbers are all multiples of 6.
