How to Find an English to Spanish Translator to Translate a Paragraph

Understanding Spanish can be difficult if you have no formal training in the language or are not familiar with it. You may also have difficulty reading Spanish, as well. In these instances, you can have writing translated into English easily by locating a bilingual individual who speaks both English and Spanish who can translate for you. You can search Craigslist, local colleges or even your neighborhood for a Spanish speaker to help you with your translating needs.

Contact the local college or university's Spanish club. To contact them, visit the university's "Student Organizations" page where you will find the listing of all campus clubs, which may include a Spanish club. Use the Spanish club link to find contact information for the club's officers. You may send an email requesting a volunteer translation.

Ask a Spanish-speaking community member to assist you. Spanish-speaking populations are increasing across the United States. As such, you may be able to locate a Spanish-speaker in your own community who may be willing to assist you. Simply ask if he will read and translate the paragraph for you.
