Measure the side of one square within the hexomino.
Count the number of sides that make up the outline of the hexomino. For instance, consider a hexomino composed of six squares in a straight line. In this example, there are six sides of squares along the long sides of the hexomino, as well as a side of a square on each end of the figure. This makes a total of 14 units along the perimeter.
Multiply the number of square side-units on the perimeter times the length of one side. For instance, if each square has a side of 2 inches, you would multiply 2 times 14 in this example to get a perimeter of 28 inches.
