How to Calculate the Number of Weeks From Dates

Calculating a specific number of weeks from a particular date sometimes causes confusion due to the notion that a month contains four weeks. Although considering four weeks a month is convenient for the work world, it isn't exactly accurate. With the exception of February, all months contain four weeks with an additional two or three days, depending on the month. Over the course of the year, these additional days make up four additional weeks, but portions of those weeks all fall within the time frame of one of the12 months. Although it is tempting to simply count the months and multiply by four, when it comes to counting the weeks to a predetermined event, each week must be calculated individually.
