How do cholos speak?

Cholos (sometimes referred to as Chicanx or Brown people) do not have a specific way of speaking. The idea that they have a distinct language is a stereotype. Cholos are simply people of Mexican or Latin American descent who live in urban areas of the United States. They may speak English, Spanish, or both, and their way of speaking depends on their individual background and their environment.
