What comes after a complete sentence?

This is a bit of a trick question! Here's why:

* Punctuation: A complete sentence typically ends with a period (.), question mark (?), or exclamation point (!).

* Structure: The sentence itself is the complete unit. What comes after depends on what you want to do next:

* Continue the thought: You can start a new sentence, or use a conjunction (and, but, or, etc.) to connect it to the previous sentence.

* Add a new idea: You can start a new paragraph to change topics.

* End the writing: If the sentence is the final one, it simply ends there.

Examples:

* Continuing the thought: *The cat sat on the mat. It then proceeded to groom its fur.*

* Adding a new idea: *The cat sat on the mat. This was a common occurrence for him.*

* Ending the writing: *The cat sat on the mat. The end.*
