What is a post secondary transcript?

A post-secondary transcript is an official academic record of a student's coursework and grades earned at an institution of higher education, such as a college or university. It typically includes information such as the student's name, student ID number, dates of attendance, degrees or certificates earned, courses taken, grades received, and any honors or awards received. Post-secondary transcripts are often required for various purposes, such as applying for graduate or professional schools, transferring to another institution, seeking employment, or demonstrating academic achievement. Transcripts may also be required for certain licensing or certification processes, scholarships or grants, and immigration purposes. Some institutions issue transcripts electronically, while others may issue them in physical form.
