Instructions

    • 1

Spread the pumpkin meat chunks out on the baking sheet.

    • 2

Drizzle the honey over the pumpkin pieces, liberally.

    • 3

Broil in your oven on its highest temperature for 15 minutes. This caramelizes the honey and pumpkin meat. Depending on the style of your oven, the broiler may be located at the bottom or the top. Make sure the rack containing the pumpkin pieces is nearest the broiler to optimize its cooking.

    • 4

Remove the broiled pumpkin from the oven and sprinkle the powdered sugar over the surface of the pumpkin pieces.

    • 5

Scatter the crushed almonds over the powdered-sugar-covered pumpkin. Let it sit for about five minutes to cool. Scatter a couple pinches of cinnamon over it to give it a festive and spiced taste.
