Pour 2 cups of flour into a large bowl.
Mix in 2 cups of water and 1 cup of salt.
Add 10 drops of a single color of food coloring into the dough, and mix the dough well to incorporate the coloring into the dough thoroughly.
Give each child a piece of the dough to create a free-form sculpture.
Scoop vanilla pudding into six different bowls, 1 cup of pudding each.
Add five drops of food coloring into each bowl, making one bowl blue, one bowl red, one bowl orange, one bowl green, one bowl purple and one bowl yellow.
Stir each bowl well with a spoon to incorporate the food coloring into the pudding completely.
Lay a sheet of craft paper in front of the toddlers, and allow them to finger paint using the edible paints.
Cut out circles from red construction paper.
Give each child one of the red circles and a sheet of black dot stickers.
Instruct the children to place the dots onto the red circles to create a lady bug. Each child will create a different pattern with the dots and will benefit from the fine motor skills required to place the dots onto the paper.
