How Do I Find Readers for the Visually Impaired?

Readers, also called screen readers or text-to-speech systems, allow an individual who is visually impaired to use a computer. A reader is one of two parts of a speech system. Speech synthesizers do the actual speaking, while screen readers tell the synthesizers what to say.
