How to Get a Worker's Permit When You Are in an Online School

State laws require teens between 12 and 17 to obtain a work permit before being allowed to accept employment. Work-permit forms are available at your school's career center. If you are completing your education online, you don't have access to a physical career center. In this case, you can contact the administrators of the online program or go through your state to obtain permission to work. Before applying for a work permit, you must first be offered a job.
