Whether you're a teacher preparing to teach geometry, a student getting ready for a test or an assignment, or you'd just like a refresh on the geometry you learned in high school or college, brushing up on geometry is now easier than ever. Along with books and tutors, there are numerous Web sites that specialize in teaching geometry through interactive resources.

      Consult a geometry book that presents information in layman terms and includes problems. Read the book every day and try to complete a few problems every day. Three recommended geometry books are "The Humongous Book of Geometry Problems," "Geometry Success in 20 Minutes a Day," and "E-Z Geometry."

      Hire a tutor whom specializes in teaching geometry. Visit a high school or college in your area and speak with teachers or representatives from the mathematics department. These teachers may be able to tutor you themselves or they could recommend someone. There are also on-line tutors available from such sites as, Tutorvista.com, Sylvanlearning.com and Tutorcircle.com. Try to visit with the tutor at least once a week for a couple of hours each session.

      Navigate to specialized geometry websites, such as Math2.org, Library.thinkquest.org and Scienceu.com. These Web sites will present you with geometry lessons and give you problems to solve. Some will even have interactive lessons and games that will help you brush up on geometry in fun, interesting ways. Navigate to different sites until you find a few that have a format that works best for you.
