Decide what your memory palace will look like. It can be a real building or you can make one up. You can also use a route, such as your way to work or church.
Set a path of how you'll travel through your memory palace. This is more important when you need to recall information in a specific order.
Furnish your memory palace. Fill it with things keep you organized, like clearly labeled filing cabinets. If you're using a route as your memory palace, place your items at specific locations, like the stop sign or the coffee shop.
Store your information in the furnishings of your memory palace. Envision going to each location and placing the information in it's proper place, so you know exactly where it is and how to retrieve it.
Move through your memory palace in the order in which you need to retrieve the information you're storing there.
Leave your memory palace after successfully placing all of your information.
Go back to your memory palace and get each of the things you've saved there in the proper order. Practice this until it becomes easier and easier for you to do.
