The person you write to should help you by giving you constructive criticism on your writing and help you with common errors you may make.
Find a friend who speaks English and practice your conversations. You should also able to find an English conversation class in your area at a local university or high school. Don't worry about speaking a lot a first. Try listen to English speakers talk more and take notes which will help your English skills.
