During their final year of production, Force made six different models of outboard motors available to the public. Consumers have access to 1999 models of Force outboard motors that offer 25-, 40-, 50-, 75-, 90- or 120-horsepower outputs. The last 150-horsepower Force outboard motor was manufactured in 1994.
All outboard motors made by Force in 1999 are two-stroke motors. However, the 25-horsepower, 75-horsepower and 90-horsepower models feature three cylinders while the 40-horsepower and 50-horsepower models feature only two cylinders. The 120-horsepower outboard is the only outboard model made in that year that features four cylinders. Certain models made before 1999 feature a powerful six-cylinder motor.
The outboard motors manufactured by Force in 1999 offer between 10 and 15 spline counts, depending on the model. The 25-horsepower model offers a 10-spline count, the lowest spline count out of all models made in that year. The 90-horsepower and 120-horsepower models offer a 15-spline count.
