Make sure the air compressor is turned off and the air tank is empty.
Wrap a layer of thread seal tape around the threads of the in-line moisture separator. Screw it into the tank air flow outlet. Make sure the glass dome of the unit is facing down when fully tightened in position with the adjustable wrench.
Wrap thread seal tape around the threads of the air pressure regulator and connect it to the open end of the moisture separator. Make sure the connection is tight with the gauges positioned so they can be seen.
Repeat this process with the ball valve shut off. Connect it to the open end of the pressure regulator. Make sure the shut-off lever has full movement to shut the air flow off completely. Once this is done you will have the moisture separator coming out of the tank followed by the regulator with the shut-off valve last.
Connect the air hose to the open end of the shut-off valve and tighten it. Remove the connector at the other end of the hose by unscrewing the ring clamp on the hose with your screwdriver. Press the tapered end of the quick connect into the hose fully. Tighten the ring clamp around the hose over the inserted part of the quick connect.
Close the ball valve air shut-off and turn on the air compressor. Let it pressurize fully and listen for leaks at your connections. If leaks are found, tighten the connector until you no longer hear the leak. Set the pressure to the amount you want for the air hose.
Attach quick connectors to your air tools. When you wish to work open the shut off valve. Connect your tool to the air line and you are ready to work.
