The crane's car body is made out of ribbed steel. An integral side wing system allows crawler extension and retraction and creates a lower center of gravity for the whole crane. A steel king pin provides a pivot point for the rotating upper works. This crane features cast steel crawler teeth and tumbler rims. Crawler tracks are made out of cast alloy steel. These tracks are connected to the crane with high-carbon steel pins.
