How to Write a Service Award Recommendation

Organizations use service awards to thank those who dedicate themselves to serving others. The honor can be given to an individual for his commitment and outstanding service to an organization, a group or an employer. A well written letter of recommendation is an important part of the selection process as it helps to determine whether the individual is worthy. Take time to write a thoughtful letter that reflects the achievements, characteristics and strengths of the person as they relate to the award being considered.
