How to Learn Lebanese at Home

People in the Mediterranean country of Lebanon speak a special variety of Levantive Arabic, which in turn is a variety of Standard Arabic. Lebanese has a number of differences with Standard Arabic on syllable structure, syntax, as well as on vocabulary, since the Lebanese language has been heavily influenced by Turkish, English and French from the 17th century onwards. Therefore, you must disregard Standard Arabic and focus on the Lebanese variety when searching for study materials at home.
