How to Animate Graphics in Flash

Adobe Flash Professional has an interactive timeline that lets you establish time points (frames) when a graphic will begin and end animating. After you establish these two points, you can then animate the graphic to spin, move or change color between these two points with Flash's animation tools. If you are a beginner though and want to animate your graphic right away, one of the easiest ways is to use a motion preset. With the motion presets, you just apply a prebuilt animation to your graphic.

Start the Flash program. Click "New" from the File menu on the main Flash menu bar. Click the file type "Flash File(ActionScript 3.0)" from the New Document dialog box that appears. Click the "OK" button to close this dialog box.
