Sylvan, also known as Sylvan Learning Centers, is a nationwide tutoring service that operates more than 900 locations across the United States. Although Sylvan is best known as a child-tutoring service, they also tutor adults, including those who need help learning or just fine-tuning their English skills, such as with an English as a second language (ESL) program.
