Airman Leadership Test Questions

Whether you are a senior airman or a staff sergeant select, you may have the opportunity to attend Airman Leadership School. With 72 locations, the school offers up and coming airmen the chance to develop stronger leadership skills. To be eligible you must have been enlisted for at least four years with a minimum of six months left in your enlistment.
  1. Purpose

    • Airman Leadership School lasts five weeks and helps airmen become better leaders, communicators and supervisors. Attendees work in a classroom environment combining lectures and class teamwork in an effort to develop and promote critical thinking and communication skills vital to leading a successful team.

    Class

    • Throughout the course airmen are expected to maintain a professional appearance and appropriate behavior. It is imperative all airmen arrive promptly to class with all homework completed. You must wear a clean uniform to class each day just as you would when reporting for duty.

    Preparation

    • The most efficient way to prepare for your final exam is to attend class each day and take thorough notes. Before the exam review your notes and highlighted portions of your textbook. While cramming for a few hours before your test is unlikely to yield positive results, you should review major areas your instructor focused on. You can also review practice tests and flash cards online to help you get into testing mode.

    Questions

    • The questions on your exam will vary greatly and cover a broad spectrum of topics ranging from grammatical proficiency to military knowledge. In addition to understanding how to maintain a team and manage fellow airmen in a work environment, airmen must also demonstrate a thorough understanding of the way the Air Force functions. Airmen must also demonstrate the ability to help fellow airmen get along with their peers and perform job functions successfully.
