Does West Point take transfer credits?

Yes, West Point accepts transfer credits, but with significant limitations. They are far more restrictive than most civilian colleges. Credits are generally only accepted from other accredited institutions, and even then, they are carefully reviewed and often not granted for many courses. Essentially, it's very difficult to transfer significant credits to West Point, and most cadets complete nearly all of their degree requirements at the Academy. It's best to assume minimal credit transfer will be allowed unless explicitly stated otherwise by West Point.
