Write up the history of your school. Research your college and lay a foundation for your reader. Include the date of founding and other interesting tidbits of information about your college's history. You can refer to the US News Report on your college for an example of how to informatively create a succinct history of your college.
Provide the school's pertinent statistics. Report the size of the incoming class, average entrance exam scores, average high school GPAs, tuition amounts and the demographic breakdown of the student body.
Write up your personal experiences. This sort of information will really provide a lens for prospective students to see the true nature of your college. Statistics can only go so far; a good personal story will really shed light on the experience. You can compile stories from other students as well. This will give a greater diversity of experiences for the reader.
Break your report up into sections. Use bold type to indicate the beginning of a new section. Use standard font and single spacing.
Add images to your report where appropriate. Certainly, the history section would benefit from a picture of some of the most historically relevant buildings on your campus. Your athletics section would be another area that would benefit from pictures.
Publish your report. You can publish your report online if you own a blog or other website. Further, you can contact your college's newspaper to see if you can publish your report in the paper.
