RMC Bachelor's Degrees

Before enrolling in a college, it is always important to know which degree programs are available. If you take general classes for two years and then discover that the school does not have your intended major available, you are going to be in trouble. The Royal Military College of Canada has several programs for you to select from.
  1. The Arts

    • Many Bachelor of Arts programs are available. In the humanities field, both standard and honors majors in English, history and French are available. The social sciences also have the two program levels in the fields of economics and politics. Honors and standard programs are also available for students interested in both business administration and military and strategic studies. One level for everyone interested of military psychology and leadership is offered as well.

    Science

    • The majority of the science programs are available at both the general and honors levels. These programs are chemistry, computer science, space science, physics and mathematics. If students are not sure exactly which science they would like to go into, a three-year program in general sciences is offered. In order to graduate from the program, students must have an average of at least 70 percent in their courses.

    Engineering

    • Since engineering is important to the military, the school offers a broad number of programs in this field. You could choose to go into electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, chemicals and materials engineering, computer engineering, civil engineering and mechanical engineering. In addition to focusing the studies on advancements to be made in the military fields, the courses also place an emphasis on learning how to solve the technological issues that society faces as a whole.

    General Information

    • At the institution, all of the courses are available in both English and French to serve the diverse backgrounds of students from Canada. At the heart of many of the classes are the skills and information students need in order to serve in the Canadian military. They emphasize the importance of the other disciplines as well. Students in the science and engineering programs learn about the arts, and students in the arts program learn about the sciences.
