How to Sell Used College Textbooks in Atlanta

Purchasing new textbooks for college is an expensive endeavor for any student. Some textbooks cost more than $100. If you have college textbooks you're no longer using–depending on the book's condition–you may be able to sell it for up to half of what a new textbook costs. This promotes recycling of used books–and it helps students looking to save money.

Place an advertisement for your college textbooks in the Craigslist “Atanta” database. You can also place an advertisement online with the AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution) Exchange. For Craigslist, the advertisement should be posted in the “Books” section of the Atlanta database. For the AJC Exchange, place the ad in the “Merchandise” section.

When posting an advertisement for your book, include a picture of the book so that students can get a good idea of its condition. And state the price and whether or not it's negotiable.
