Type the quotation you are using on the title page of your paper. Place it below your name, the date and any other general information you are required to provide. The epigraph should be centered directly below the title of the paper.
Type the name of the author of the quote underneath the quotation after a "---" sign.
Create a works cited page at the end of your paper for all of the sources which you have used in your paper.
Type the citation for the epigraph with all of your other citations in alphabetical order and in the appropriate format. For example, if the direct quote is from a book, the citation would look like this: "Smith, Jamie. The Appalachian Trail. New York, NY: Penguin Publishing, 1993. 1-365. Print."
