How to Pass Chemistry Without Studying

College chemistry can be a very challenging course. Most students who take chemistry in college spend hours outside of class studying in an effort to get the best grade possible. However, if you are taking chemistry and just don't want to study or don't have the time to study, you can still pass chemistry.

Instructions

    • 1

Attend all classes and laboratory sessions. Never miss a class or a lab for any reason. The more time you spend in the classroom and the laboratory, the better you will do in chemistry.

    • 2

Pay attention in class. Do not let your mind wander. Keep focused on what your professor is trying to teach you. If you don't pay attention in class, the chances of passing chemistry are slim.

    • 3

Take excellent notes. In most cases, if your professor writes something down on the blackboard, you should write it down in your chemistry notebook. Listen for important facts and tidbits that your professor says and write them down too. Often, writing things down will help you remember them, even if you don't study your notes at a later date.

    • 4

Ask questions. If your professor goes over something in class or in laboratory that you do not understand, ask about it. If your professor does not have a question and answer time at the end of class, simply raise your hand in class when the question arises. Most professors are willing to answer any questions you may have.

    • 5

Complete all of your homework assignments. If you don't plan to do any studying for exams or quizzes, completing all of your assignments as accurately as possible and on time is essential.

    • 6

Consider reading your chemistry textbook and laboratory manual. You may not plan to study, but reading your materials once through can be very beneficial in helping you understand chemistry.
