Ask the Georgia State Board of Barbers for the list of requirements your premises must meet to be deemed suitable for a barber's school.
Check your premises to make sure they meet the board's requirements. If not, make the necessary adjustments.
Fill out your application from the Georgia State Board of Barbers.
Send your completed application along with three character references, the floor plan of the proposed premises, the $300 license fee (as of the date of publication), evidence of proper provisions for licensed teachers and the list of equipment to be used.
Prepare your premises for a preliminary inspection by an inspector from the Georgia State Board of Barbers. This will be made upon receipt of your application.
Prepare for the second inspection of the premises, making any changes requested in the first inspection. If the facility meets all the requirements for the premises, staff and equipment, you should be granted a barber school license.
