The Westchester area is home to many colleges and technical schools, including several institutions offering educational training to become an ultrasound technician or diagnostic medical sonographer. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, this field will experience faster than average employment growth through 2018 due to the country's aging population.
