Is there any online schools for ultrasound tech?

There are no fully online accredited programs leading to a credential as a diagnostic medical sonographer (ultrasound tech). The hands-on, clinical component of the training is absolutely essential and cannot be replicated online. You need supervised experience using ultrasound equipment and interacting with patients.

While some schools might offer *some* online coursework as *part* of their program, the majority of the training will always be in-person, in a clinical setting. Look for accredited programs in your area or nearby that incorporate both classroom and clinical components. You'll want to ensure the program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the American Medical Association (AMA) to ensure it meets professional standards.
